ABOUT ME
Welcome to my website!
I’m a graduate from the University of North Texas where I majored in Speech-Language Pathology and minored in Creative Writing. It was there, sitting in classes about voice disorders and the anatomy of the ear, that I figured out I was meant to be a writer. Don’t get me wrong, Speech Pathology is an interesting, much needed, and rewarding field. I, however, discovered a little too late that it was not the field for me. When my note-taking in class became me secretly writing scenes instead of what was on the board, and my clinical observations were a blissful hour where I only pretended to be observing while writing my book, I knew that I would never have such a strong passion for anything else.
Some hobbies of mine include movies, musical theatre, pretending to be a modern dancer, and volleyball. I’m a self-proclaimed Gryffindor, tall Hobbit at heart, and horror movie junkie. I love Jesus and my goal is to honor him in all that I do. I hope that the love he gives me can reach other people through my stories.
